Floral Genes or Just Luck?

My Mom, as most of you know, retired from her teaching career recently and started working for Hobby Lobby as their Master Florist. And if you know my Mom at all, hearing that may make you consider making a drive to Wichita Falls, Texas, just to get her to do an arrangement for you! She’s very talented!

So, I have agonized in the past over floral arrangements. I have always enjoyed doing them, but until recently didn’t feel like I had the knack for it. I could make an average looking one, but never an interesting and different arrangement that people notice.

After studying a lot of arrangements and watching my Mom make one for my kitchen, I think maybe some of her expertise may have rubbed off on me! (Even though, when asked she said, "I don't know how I do it. I just put this here and this here, and..."

Anyway, these aren’t going to win any awards or flock the halls of the White House or anything, but I am really happy with the results. See for yourselves, and thanks to the supreme "floralmeister" (Mom) for "showing me the way!"
